Garmin nüvi 205W Review
Garmin nüvi 205W is 4.3 inch widescreen GPS navigator. It is a pretty slim device which weighs just 1 pound. It comes with lots of great features, but still the price is pretty low.
One of the best things that we noticed in this cool GPS navigator from Garmin is that – it has got a new interface -that provides lots of information while traveling. It can even provide the speed at which we drive the car at any instant. On the screen you’ll see zoom in and zoom out buttons as well. Since it is with touch screen display – things are much easier!
Garmin nüvi 205W makes viewing and downloading photos a lot easier. You’ll be getting access to the millions of photos that has been uploaded by Google’s Panoramio photo sharing community. Not just that you can even search for photos by location and name! Pics in Google maps can also be viewed. Photos can be saved to the device from Garmin Connect using Garmin Communicator.

You’ll be getting dynamic content from MSN direct if you are willing to purchase an optional receiver along with it. Then you’ll be able to check the whether, gas prices, stock prices, and much more. You’ll have to subscribe to MSN direct to access the various features including those mentioned here.
If you don’t know where you are located at any moment, then just tap “where am I” – and you’ll be provided with information regarding the nearest hospitals, restaurants, fuel stations, police stations etc. Nearest locations can also be viewed.
Garmin Lock feature is something that is seen in most of the Garmin GPS devices. Garmin nüvi 205W also comes with this cool feature. You may change the required settings and can make it accessible only by you. For that you may either set a new PIN or set a new location – upon reaching where the device will be unlocked automatically!
